Looking first at what all comes with the Tac-Con GT Mod 1, you can see it comes with everything you need. And we mean everything. No extra pins or anything needed. The entire kit of everything you need is contained within the package.

It even it includes an ambi selector switch and all the tools such as allen wrenches to install everything. From a replacement to a brand new build, you’ll have everything you could possibly need in the box to get going.

The package also includes all of the instructions to install it properly. All parts should be installed by a qualified gunsmith.

Inside the package is also a laminated card from the ATF that shows the Tac-con trigger functions only “semi-automatically” and is nota part or combination of parts that can convert a semi-auto into a machinegun.

The Tac-con GT Mod 1 works by assisting the trigger forward but the finger still has to come off the trigger to reset the trigger completely. So instead of a forced reset, this design is focused around assisted reset where the user still has to do the last bit of movement.

The first thing we noticed was the extremely short break and the small reset to get the trigger back in position. We have no doubt that with some training, you could easy shoot this trigger quickly. It is worth noting that with the proper training and time spent on a standard trigger, you could likely fire just as fast with a milspec trigger.

We wanted to go out to see if this trigger is a novelty item and just something that would be taken out to the range with to have some fun with. But it is amazing to see how amazing the reset and take up is on this trigger. The shelf and reset are so crisp that it may be something you may want, regardless of the trigger reset functionality.
