April 2021 Battlbox – The beginning of a beautiful friendship

This is my first dealing with Battlbox and I fell in love with this box. I went with the Advanced box since it was the closest in price to the Tacpack and felt like that would be the best in order to compare the boxes.

I spent a little over $77 for the box including shipping and tax.

Let’s see how I did

1st item – Nustat Hemostatic dressing. This includes two 4×4 pads of hemostatic dressing (think quikclot gauze). Hemostatic dressing is a must have for an EDC in my opinion. MSRP – $25 (Sale $18)

2nd item – Micromend Skin closure system. Think of a Band-Aid that can close larger cuts…like a Band-Aid suture. MSRP – $22 (Sale $19)

3rd item – RipPak teeth cleaning. It seems like a powder listerine alternative. Pour it in your mouth and swish for 60 seconds. I’ll keep these in my work bag. MSRP – $15 (Sale $9)

4th item – Gear-Aid Durable Water Repellant. A spray on water repellant for your outerwear. MSRP/Sale – $17 on Amazon

5th item – Exotac Nanostriker XL. This is a great Firestarter that can get you approximately 300 sparks and smaller than most pens. MSRP – $30

So I paid $77 shipped for the box and to buy everything ON SALE I would be paying over $90. Not including tax and shipping. I think I did okay.
