To be honest, these TacPacks up until this March 2021 TacPack have been terrible. What a giant waste of money. But we suffer so you don’t have to. Let’s get into what this pack comes with and you can decide why you should avoid this.
First thing out of this is a cleaning patch kit from Clenzoil. This is a container of 75 patches that are pre-saturated with CLP for 50 cal or 12 guage…practically worthless to me, but you can buy it for $11
Next is the TacPack branded cleaning mat. This is a little shorter than a standard TekMat, but I do like the look of the black on brown TacPack uses vs the white on Black you see on TekMat. I still wouldn’t spend more than $25 on this.
3rd item is pure garbage. A puke tan TacPack hat. This is one of those rare instances where the video actually makes the hat look better than in person. It is bad. $0
4th item is the coolest of the entire pack. It is a PVC 4 leaf clover patch. $5-10
5th item is a pair of Breakthrough lens cleaning wipes. These should be free.
Next is the Kershaw Cinder. A pretty cool keychain knife that has a bottle opener on the backside. I forgot to include this in the end of the video as something I would use (I like knives). You still should not pay a dime over $10 for this though.
Last is the Vulcan QuickDraw. This is one of those magnetic gun mount you can place under your desk or under your steering wheel. I personally would never use one of these due to my children being around. $25
MSRP of the items in this box is $81ish (not including tax and shipping). I hate almost everything in this box. It seems like TacPack was just scavenging their stock room to see what they had leftovers of and threw those items in my box.
I’ll give this 1 out of 5 stars and refer to this as the “Pack of Leftovers”
