Looking at the Crye SPC loadout, it is designed around being an active citizen and not designed to mimic military style load outs. In military setups, you often know the level of training of your teammates and the gear they will have with them.
As a civilian, you may have teammates with varying levels of training and varying levels of gear along with varying levels of knowledge of how to use it.
The load outs need to take all of those variables into account and each loadout I put together usually falls into two main categories, go fast or go long.
With the Crye SPC, it falls into the “go fast” category by providing a lightweight setup that can scale up and down quickly. By using smart gear choices, a civilian could easily make them perform at a significantly higher level.
The Crye SPC uses the Eagle ergo to bridge the gap between the go fast and go long setup so the SPC if you needed to scale your setup up or down. While still providing the user a great way for chest expansion if you were running or needed to take deep breaths.
Another pivotal piece is the Haley Hitchhike that allows you to actually use a rear pack. Having a rear pack becomes far less useful in a civilian environment where the other members of your team may not have a pack. So being able to get to your gear becomes a must. And removing it is extremely easy.
Also on the front of our carrier is the Spiritus Systems MK4 placard that can be removed or swapped out to different calibers if needed. The Thing 1 works to expand this entire setup to add two additional side pouches. This could be used to carry additional mag pouches or radio pouches. The thing 1 would give you the ability to quickly add an additional 4 mags to the plate carrier.
Below the thing 1 I place the raptor adaptor 3 in 1 dangler pouch. This pouch doubles as both a dangler and a fanny pack, showing the ability of the carrier to adapt quickly up or down to carry more or less gear as required.
The front of the plate carrier also integrates the Juggernaut mount and impact case to easily integrate into ATAC. This provides a significant tactical advantage to any situation as you’re able to maintain the communication and position of all of your teammates. Having your own private server is pivotal to maintaining team awareness and security of the team’s position.
Hopefully, by seeing my carrier loadout, you can get an idea of the best ways to set up your carrier!
