Upon first opening I noticed the high quality buckle on the Eagle gun belt that matches the same buckle as my Ronin Senshi. Things were starting to look pretty good!

The molle was nice and thick and didn’t use any thin materials. I love the look of the multicam black!

But here is where we found our first issue……the belt is itself….made with the hook side of the velcro. This is a huge problem. Namely because I can’t hook it into any of my other belts. It’s also a bad design choice as a consumer because the loop side of the velcro wears out.

So normally you can just change out your EDC for very low cost. Not in this design. When the loop wears out, you gotta trash the whole belt.

This forced me to buy the very specific Eagle operator inner EDC belt. The hook was designed very nicely and isn’t as jagged as normal velcro hook. I will warn you though, it IS sharp. Anyone with tactical girth will find this inner belt very painful.

I have the whole belt setup with some amazing Grim Hunter Tactical Gear pouches that really took this belt to the next level. We also used the fantastic esstac mag pouches.

It was then quickly identified that the belt also doesn’t include the normal amount of molle panels. I’m not sure if they only amount of panels, regardless of belt size, or not. But I’m definitely missing an area where you can tell where two additional molle panels should be.

This really messes me up when setting up the belt because everything has to be shifted to the rear by two molle panels. A right handed shooter may not mind this but I find it very frustrating.

Putting the belt, everything was secure and still stayed in place. One concern is the entire front corner isn’t connected in any way at all and kind of just flops around.

Overall there are just bad design choice after bad design choice that turns this belt into a real head scratcher. This is going to be a no from me dawg.
