The Grey Ghost Gear UGF Battle Belt is my choice of belt when I decided to build a new duty belt for work. I was working with an old style nylon outer belt and velcro inner belt. The problem with those old belt…once you get your mag pouches, holster, med kit, and whatever else, theres actually very little velcro that is making connection. Hence the need for belt keepers to keep the two belts together.
Don’t get me wrong, the old style works. It works about as well as a divorced family trying to decide which parent gets to claim the kids on taxes that year.
Why go through all that hassle when you can build a belt you can trust your life with. This belt has some fault, but nothing that can’t be overlooked and nothing that would cause this belt to fail in my opinion.
