I wanted to share my experience with the Holosun warranty process. My Holosun 507c v1 was having some odd issues where the red dot would flicker or go blank if I did high repetitions of dry fires. I thought that my battery was just dying but after the 3rd battery in 6 weeks, I thought I should call holosun.
It took 10 days for my process to be complete and my 507c v1 was upgraded with a 507c v2! The new 507c v2 includes a side load battery assembly. You no longer have to remove the optic to replace the battery. The new v2 also seems to transition faster using the automatic brightness setting. The overall brightness seems higher than my v1 also.
The install was quick and easy and I installed all screws to 15 inch pounds and had no issues. The included hardware is 5/16 inch which is required for the holosun.
While the holosun shares the same RMR footprint, the RMR screws are 3/8 inch and WILL NOT fit properly. I have had to shave off 1/16 of an inch in the past.
Overall the warranty experience has been amazing and has solidified our team in our support of Holosun. I hope our experience displays that Holosun has a warranty that they are willing to stand behind. I was nothing but blown away with the Holosun team’s assistance and willingness to make everything perfect.
