Looking at the JAC pack closely, we see the front has a large opening pocket that can be used to store additional gear such as tools and magazines. The top of the JAC pack also has attachment points for bungee retention to keep all the gear inside the pouch secured.

The front of the JAC pack also has a large loop area to attach any patches or identifiers on the rear of your pack. The lower portion under the loop field also has five rows of laser cut molle that you can use to attach additional pouches, GP pouches, or placards to the bottom portion of the pack.

Moving to the bottom, there are also two molle slots that can be used to connect in a tourniquet, sleeping bag, or any other gear that can be attached via lanyards. The side pack bungee also connects in at the bottom of the JAC pack, allowing the user to cinch down the pack to keep all of the contents secured.

The zippers on the side also go down fully to flay the bag open but the bungees offer a natural stopping point so the bag just opens normally from the top. But you can also easily overpower the bungee to open the zipper fully, allowing you to flay the pack completely open. This allows someone using the pack as a medical pouch to have the bag open fully and have full access to all of their medical equipment.

Moving to the rear of the pack, we see a full tegris rear panel that adds a high level of rigidity to the pack while not adding any sort of significant weight. The tegris panel also has a series of slots and keyways that are used for both the fixed and removable configuration.

When you purchase the JAC pack from Javlin Concepts, you have multiple purchasing options such as color and connection methods. You can choose to have the JAC pack in the fixed, removable, or both configurations.

The fixed configuration attaches the JAC pack to your rear plate carrier bag in a standard legacy configuration. In this method, the JAC pack offers teammates a way to access additional gear but the wearer themselves would be unable to access the gear without removing the plate carrier.
The removable configuration offers a way to expand the functionality of the user in a dramatic way from both the single soldier or civilian use perspective. The rear pack is now easily removable by disconnecting the waist and shoulder straps, allowing the user to restock or have full access to all of your additional gear in the rear pack.

The Javlin Concepts A-Jac or B-Jac with the JAC pack in the fixed configuration offers versatility and foresight in terms of functionality that you just don’t see anywhere else.
I highly recommend this pack and the entire Javlin Concepts suite of gear.
