Today I take out my sig sauer p320 for Let’s shoot episode 2!

This episode we are working on pistols and particularly, pistol grip. I found that my grip would break down when I made multiple shots. This was mainly due to the large amount of dry fire and airsoft training. I just have not trained the grip properly and once I string a few shots together, it all was starting to break down.

So the idea this time is to really work on driving each hand into the opposite shoulder so it keeps the pistol locked in place, horizontally. Then I want to keep my wrists locked to keep the pistol locked in place vertically. The idea is for the movement to occur at the elbows….which I realized after watching this footage. My movement is all in my shoulders….which causes muzzle climb on recoil. Don’t do that….loose elbows.

The gear used on today video is:

Sig Sauer P320 compact (carry)

X-carry grip module

Grey Ghost Precision v1

compact slide Faxon threaded compact barrel

Holosun 507c v2

DPM recoil reduction spring

124 grain Sellier and Bellot ammo

I found that the muzzle climb stayed in the center as I was shooting by watching it on the mantisx. I dont’ really want THAT much muzzle climb but I wasn’t focused on that yet. The idea from this trip is to get the muzzle to rise straight up and down.

Then I can take another session to work getting the muzzle rize down!

Please comment below on any tips or other things you would like to share about your pistol shooting routine. I love getting your tips and using them in the Let’s shoot videos.
