Today we do a gear review of the RōNIN SENSHI battle belt. We have it decked out with custom pouches from Grim Hunter Tactical Gear and esstac kywi mag pouches.

The RoNIN SENSHI is a 2 piece battle belt that uses and inner and outer belt system. The inner belt that comes with the setup is 2″ belt but I purchased the additional 1.5″ EDC belt so it would fit regular pants.
The outer belt is extremely study and very well made. I highly recommend this as a top tier belt. The molle webbing is extremely thick, unlike other belts. I go over tips and tricks for attaching gear to this belt to maximize its use on our Patreon page.
The belt is setup with a Safariland UBL midride and uses the safariland QLS system to attach all sorts of holsters. Without the QLS, you would lose a lot of functionality of being able to swap between belts. The knightfall custom’s holster with TEKlok makes this a fantastic choice for this type of setup.
The pouches included are the custom radio pouch from Grim Hunter Tactical. This pouch easily allows any pouch to be added to your first line gear. It is adjustable so you can fit a Baofeng with a regular or extended battery. I prefer an Alinco DMR so I can hit both digital and analog.
Grim hunter tactical also designed my medical pouch which is an enclosure for a standard 6×6 pouch. The medical enclosure has a tourniquet holder on the top, a velcro patch, and slots for pens, glowsticks, or medical devices. I love this setup because it sits flatter on my back and can be easily removed. I can take the medical kit off and throw it in a bag or just clip it right back into my belt in just a second. It’s also very easy to take off if you’re riding in a vehicle and you can toss your medical pouch in a cargo pocket.
The Grim tactical hunter dump pouch is amazingly well made and I love how compact it sits on my belt setup.
Grim Hunter also make a quick access tourniquet pouch that fits perfectly on the belt and stores a single CAT-7 tourniquet.
I also love their hearing protection wrap! Now I don’t have to worry about someone mistaking their ear pro for mine.
