First off I need to say “Thank you” to Stealthgear for sending this holster to us. I have had somewhat of an interest in Appendix holsters ever since watching a video from Warrior Poet Society. A viewer mentioned how much he liked Stealthgear holsters and I reached out to them.
I’ve had this holster for close to two months and have worn it as my EDC holster for at least half of that time.
Even after two months, it is still surprising how comfortable this holster is for me.
I still practice daily with this holster. Every morning, I put it on, stand in a corner of my room and practice drawing from the holster and drawing from concealment.
Sitting is another matter and although I can sit with the holster, it is the one time that it is not comfortable in my opinion. On long road trips, I usually take the holster off completely and leave it next to me while driving and then reattach it during my stops.
Even so, I am not ready for this to be my new EDC holster going forward. I have been in the habit of carrying OWB at the 3 o’clock position for so long that anything else feels unnatural for me.
I’m not giving up on Appendix carrying though. I want to train with it more and eventually incorporate it into my carrying options.
