In this video I walk you through how to change the stock grip module on the Tikka t3x tac a1.
The tikka t3x tac a1 uses a standard ar15 pistol grip but there are a few items of note and nuances that you may want to be aware of.
I changed my grip to the MPA EVG grip but it did require a good bit of shaping and fitting to include the left hand thumb shelf.
You can find that grip here:

The grip is removed with the tool that is included with your tikka. Removing the grip is a tad annoying as the cover gets in the way. You can bend it out of the way with your other hand. The tikka grip is held in with loctite so it takes a bit of force to get started.
The included hardware in my replacement grip module did not fit the tikka chassis and I needed to reuse the original grip module screw.
To install, place the screw on the end of the tool and then hold the replacement grip module in its upright position. Feed the screw and tool through the hole as this will help you later. Place a few drops (1-2 MAX) of blue loctite (NOT RED) on the screw.
While holding the tool tight against the grip module, rotate the grip module upside down.
Now you can easily align the screw with the screw hole on the chassis.
Tighten down to approx 40 in/lbs.
