In this video we review the Wilson Combat P320 grip module. The grip module is extremely comfortable but it falls into an odd place between the Sig Sauer X compact grip and Sig Sauer X carry grip.
We take a look at the differences in the Wilson Combat P320 grip module. The Wilson combat p320 grip module also uses the Wilson Combat grip weights and with the weights it weights approx 4.5oz. The Sig Sauer x carry grip with the grip weight and magwell weights approx 7.35oz. So we found there is a significant difference in weight.
The Wilson Combat P320 grip module also has a built in magwell that helps with reloads but it’s not as incredible as the p320 x-series carry grip module. The grip module is also a bit smaller in terms of size so there is less surface area of you hand on the grip, making recoil control a bit more difficult. This places the Wilson Combat p320 grip module in an challenging position as it is a bit too small to be a competition or war gun grip and the magwell isn’t as extreme which makes reloads significantly harder.
If you have the original p320 grip module, you’re definitely going to want to upgrade. That grip is horrible.
Comparing the Wilson Combat p320 grip module to the Sig Sauer x compact grip, they have very similar dimensions. The Sig Sauer x compact grip is amazing for conceal carry but the small magwell that is on the bottom of the grip makes concealment extremely difficult. It’s very obvious there is a gun grip sticking out the side of your shirt.
Next, we took the Wilson combat p320 grip module out to the range. We were extremely accurate with the Wilson Combat P320 grip module and we were able to also shoot some extremely fast and accurate groups.
Things got very different when we went to do reloads. Full disclosure, we are very experienced in the Sig Sauer x carry grip so we could likely train into the Wilson Combat P320 grip module. But it is worth noting how much more difficult the reloads were.
We hope you find the review useful to help you decide on your purchases!
